i like sevens that look like this. but what does the extra line signify?
theory #1 - the line is Seven's hands. this theory sucks. it is held by Danny Tanner and Comet the dog from Full House.
theory #2 - a seven with a knife in his mouth. Seven is a big fan of the movie Rambo. Especially the scene where Rambo throws a rock and blows up a helicopter. Maybe seven put a knife in his mouth to look like his childhood hero? This theory is held by Sylvester Stallone
theory #3 - Seven is a Frankenstein. enough said. This theory is held by the Boogie Man and Stone Phillips.
theory #4 - Seven is wearing a bow tie. Maybe seven looks like this on his way to a jazz club or maybe he is a secret agent. secret agent seven. and he is about to go assassinate 8 for trying to take over the world. but then 8 captures him and puts him on a machine where he is totally gonna die in like 2 seconds but then seven breaks out and punches 8 in the nose and narrowly escapes. that would be sweet. o ya and he totally kisses 6 at the end. This theory is held by Michael Jackson's kid who's name is Blanket.
theory #5 - it is a seven with a mustache. maybe seven is trying to hide from his ex-girlfriend 6 who is a total flooze by the way. or maybe the seven with a mustache is the other seven's good looking out of town cousin with an accent who scores all the chicks and then seven gets mad and sends him back to France.This theory is held by Uncle Jesse from Full House but not Uncle Joey. He was too busy saying cut it out to comment.
theory #6 - this is the seven standing at a basketball game doing the wave, he just has stubby little arms. This theory is held by Danny Devito.
theory #7 - seven's real name is steven. he wanted the line to make his stem look like a T so everyone would call him steven. maybe his full name is steven seven. that would be funny.This theory is held by me.

You bring up several excellent theories, but seven in not the only one who holds a mysterious bar.
Though less common, I present to you the letter "z"

Theory 1) The letter "z" is really the number 7 trying to force it's way into the alphabet. Being a numeral just wasn't enough to satisfy such a number of completion. Clever, that number seven. Now he can be free to roam in math and literature alike. This theory is held by Albert Einstein.
Theory 2) This theory is much like the previous, but reversed. The letter "z" had finally come to the realization that being last always made him a loser. He decided to try to steal the thunder of the number seven. This theory is held by Kanye West “Yo Seven. I’m really happy for you. I’ma let you finish but Z is the best looking character in the alphanumeric system!"
Theory 3) The origin of this letter actually was at some point the number seven. Either that, or it represented the number seven. (which would relatively make sense, seeing as how it does complete the alphabet) What I am getting at is this: this letter had the ability to represent both a number and a letter at the same time. Mystic Eastern religions thought that the letter represented several odd numbers and could bring luck to any who utilized it's power. This theory is held by many of the Decpticons but not Optimus Prime because he actually knew what was going on.
Theory 4) This particular letter "z" is flaunting that he can grow a legitimate mustache ... unlike many of the other letters. This theory is held by Tom Selleck and Nietzsch.
Theory 5) Chuck norris was tired of looking at "x" be so useless he roundhouse kicked him so hard one of x's legs flew off an impaled z. This theory is held by Chuck Norris.
Theory 6) Aliens abducted Z and after running several biochemical tests, returned the chemically enhanced letter back to earth with a set of not so stubby arms. This theory is held by Mulder, but not Scully who thinks that Z just de-evolved over time. Coincidentally, Mulder seems to think that if it wasn't the aliens, then government must have run the tests and upon creating such a mutant, tried to cover it up by hiding all evidence that it ever existed.
Theory 7) Z was just tired of being a simple zig zag line and wanted to throw in a little bit of a something-something to spice up its appearance. Who know's what he'll do next. I wouldn't be surprised if he threw another bar through his center. It's like wearing a hat on top of a hat. It only makes you that much cooler. This theory is held by me.
Very insightful theories indeed. I don't know much about 7, but a wise man once said these words about 13:
13 is an unlucky number. If 13’s unlucky, then so should the letter B be, cuz B looks like a scrunched-together 13. ‘Hello, what is your name?’ ‘Bob.’ ‘Get the heck away!’
i think that the number 7 had an insatiable lust for speed and installed a propeller around his mid-section.
